    Arizona universities: All the dates ASU, UA, NAU will be closed for the rest of the year

    The three largest Arizona universities — Arizona State University, University of Arizona and Northern Arizona University — have all been in session for about a month now.

    With fall break on the horizon, many residents and college students may be wondering when the schools will be in or out of session for the rest of the year.

    The trio of ASU, UA and NAU all have often different upcoming academic breaks.

    All three will be closed on Veterans Day and MLK Jr.

    Day, which fall on Nov. 11 and Jan. 20, respectively. Students of the universities can look forward to having those days off.

    Here is a look at the upcoming breaks for Arizona's three largest universities, and their schedules for the rest of the 2024-25 academic year.

    Arizona State University

    Fall semester classes began on Aug.

    • Thanksgiving break: Nov. 28 and Nov. 29.
